This March 11th marked the first day of the "King of Tapioca"
In order to position ourselves on the world's largest video platform, YouTube, we wanted to hold a multichannel giveaway so that one of our loyal followers could win a year of Cassavitas completely free. The contest started on January 6, 2022, and the dynamic was that contestants had to comment on a video on our YouTube channel.
By commenting on the video, participants automatically entered the giveaway; they had to share a special anecdote involving Cassava Roots and tell us who they would share the prize with if they won. We had over 600 participants and managed to grow by 200% on that platform.
The main idea was to have only one winner, but on the day of the live draw, with everyone's nerves at their peak, Uncle Cassava dropped the news that there would be a second and third place. No one expected it, and the viewers of the giveaway were very excited by the news.
We wanted everyone to feel very cherished and held a special event at our branch in Tlaxcala in the Condesa neighborhood on March 11, 2022. Pamela González was crowned first place, Ángeles Basurto second, and Jorge Cortés third.
That day, several media outlets were present to cover the event, and to validate this coronation, Edgar González and Francisco Juaréz partners-managing directors of Cassava Roots.
The idea of this contest "The King of Tapioca" is to be held every year so that our Rocksters feel that belonging to the brand and we can reward their loyalty. From now on, March 11th is established as the day of the "King of Tapioca".
