Green tea, black tea, red tea, cinnamon, lemon, chamomile, mint… the reign of tea is a whole science of benefits and flavors that have conquered the senses of every human being on this planet for decades.

And that is precisely why we must remember that May 21 is celebrated as International Tea Day, a drink enjoyed from England by Queen Elizabeth II to Mia Thermopolis when she discovers she is a princess.

Not to mention that it is one of the most consumed beverages worldwide, tea carries a whole system of culture and history. Thanks to its discovery in China around 2737 B.C., humans were able to create blends that reduced stress, stomach discomfort, and many other symptoms.

Do you see why tea is the best?

THE ELIXIR OF LIFE

It is impressive the countless benefits in such a noble drink, how delightful it is to wake up and have a tea when you want to relax, when it is very hot, or simply to chat… it’s excellent for any occasion!

The tea industry has expanded over time, giving us the opportunity to have countless options that help us choose what is most appropriate according to our tastes and needs.

And thanks to this, Cassava Roots is inspired and decides to make tea a central element.

THE ART OF INFUSION

The background of this plant speaks to us of the great power it has on a social level, because behind this wonderful and delicious drink, there are large and “small” tea producers who benefit us through its consumption, and this is reflected in the fact that tea plantations are a global lung: they produce oxygen all year round!

According to the CNDH, on December 19, 2019, the United Nations General Assembly decided to use May 21 as International Tea Day; for all of us who are die-hard tea fans, we now have our day!

So remember, if you are a tea fan, you are not just loving the drink as such; you are loving everything behind it. You are loving the process, the history, the farmers, the culture of other countries and of course, Cassava Roots.
